PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

August 2014 – April 2022: Baligh Medical Laboratory – Cairo – Egypt. Medical laboratory Specialist
  • Performed various Biochemistry, Immunology, Hematology, and Microbiological tests and assays, Urinalysis and Stool Analysis.
  • Operated different semi-automated devices to perform diabetes screening, liver & kidney function tests, lipid, cardiac, and minerals profiles, hormones, and tumor markers tests.
  • Operated different fully and semi-automated machines and manual devices: Cobas c111, TOSOH, AIA 360, ISE 300, Cell Dyn, CoaDATA, Nycocard, Biosystems BTS-310, Vidas, Dialab and SLAN Real Time PCR.
  • Performed all the PCR COVID 19 swabbing and testing.
October 2009 – July 2014: Tabuk Agricultural Development Company – Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. Microbiology/ Phytopathology Laboratory Specialist
  • Hands-on experience in fungal & bacterial microorganisms testing.
  • Prepared different culture media: Nutrient Agar, Potato Dextrose Agar, Verticillium agar and Pseudomonas agar.
  • Prepared micro slides for bacteria, fungi, spider mites and eriophyid mites.
  • Operated different laboratory equipment.
  • Isolated microbes from plant tissues: roots, tubers, stem and leaves.
  • Inoculated pathogens from bacterial canker, Gummosis, Pseudomonas, Verticillium, Fusarium, Rhizoctonia, Alternaria, Phytopthora.
  • Determined nematodes population density in soil samples using different methods.
  • Identified important economic nematodes: Cereal Cyst, Root Knot, Lesion, Ring, Citrus, Spiral and Stunt Nematodes.
  • Inspected potato leaves using virus diagnostic tests.
  • Analyzed microbiological contamination in water: total bacteria count and Coliform bacteria testing.
